I think all of us will remember where we were on that day.
I was about 8 months pregnant with Tyler. I was sitting in my doctors office waiting for her. She was running late because she had just delivered a baby. So I was sitting there and the nurse came in to tell me that a plane had just hit the trade center. I thought it was a small airplane that just accidentally hit the building. While I was still sitting there I heard a scream. The nursing staff was watching the news and they had just saw the other plane crash into the building. The nurse then again told me that another plane crashed into the world trade center. I sat there with my mouth open. I knew that could not be an accident again. I sat there in disbelief. The doctor finally got there and we did the normal stuff. I remember I was driving home when I heard about the pentagon being attacked. I was scared. I was suppose to go to work that day after my appointment. But I worked in downtown Baltimore and it was very close to the Trade Center in Baltimore. So they decided to close us. So I never went to work. I went home to find Kent and Justin sound asleep. I woke Kent up to tell him everything he could not believe it either. We watched the news for the rest of the day. It was a very sad day.

Hi Stacey,
I am a friend of Michelle's (The Contini Clan). I saw the title of this post on her blog roll and so I dropped in. Your post evoked a whole slew of memories for me. You are right. I know exactly where I was when the planes crashed: standing at the copy machine at the middle school I taught at in NYC. Thank you for your tender post.
Be well,
Suzanne
